![]() Might there some other form of free capture software that allows for dithering? Can it be easily enabled in PHD2? I know manual dithering is a thing, but I'm not sure what the proper method is seeing as I've never done it. I know there are some dithering options in PHD2, but I'm not sure if I should be messing with those. I am familiar with the concept of dithering and what it can correct, I'm just not sure how to physically enable it. ![]() That being said, it was brought to my attention from a previous post dealing with hot pixels on a photo of M31 I had captured, that my lack of dithering was the main culprit. I do things the way I know to do things, which to some might be primitive, but it's worked for me, to a point. I don't consider my self an expert imager, but I do consider myself to be above beginner level as well.
